Tumbling

Tumbling elements can start from a standing position or with a run-up and are usually synchronized in a routine.

Stretches

Flyers, also known as Topgirls, practice extra flexibility so that they can perform the various body positions in the air as beautifully as possible.

Coed Stunts

Partner stunts are usually performed by men. In this case, a base lifts the top girl into the air all by himself.

The toe touch is the most well-known jump in cheerleading. This body position is also often used in a basket toss.

Jumps are often combined with standing tumbling in a routine.

Basket toss

In a basket toss, the flyer is thrown into the air and caught again in a cradle position.

During the flight, the flyer performs spins, flips, or other acrobatic movements.

Pyramids

When the flyers from different stunts hold onto each other, forming one large whole, this is called a pyramid.

Groupstunt

A group stunt consists of:

2 bases

1 flyer

1 backspot

1 frontspot (optional)

Bases, backspots, and frontspots train to develop strength and technique so that they can lift or throw the flyer smoothly into the air and, of course, catch them safely again.

A flyer must not be afraid of heights.

They work on technique, form tension, balance, and body awareness, among other things, to make themselves as light as possible in the air.

ALLSTAR CHEERLEADING

What is Allstar Cheerleading?

Cheerleading is a sport that combines various acrobatic and gymnastic elements.

Cheerleaders originated as a way to support other sports teams during competitions, but under the branch ‘Allstar Cheerleading’ it has grown into a discipline in its own right.

Over the years, cheerleading has evolved into a highly athletic and competitive activity with an emphasis on teamwork, athletic ability, and showmanship.

Teams

Teams are divided based on:

Age (mini, primary, junior, youth, senior)

Level (1-7)

Gender (coed: boys and girls, and all-girl: girls only).

Routine

An Allstar Cheerleading routine consists of stunts, jumps, pyramids, and tosses that are connected with energy and enthusiasm through cheer dance and creative transitions.
